A biweekly reading club at the Statistical Science department.
Formally named `Computational Stats Reading Club' by its founder Ricardo, the club has been run successfully for more than 2 years.
Meetings take place every other Wednesday from 4 to 5pm in one room of the Statistical Science departmental (1-19 Torrington Place, 1st floor). Each session is normally led by one or more `speakers' (volunteers are always welcome!) who guide the audience through some recent work they like or find relevant for the stats community. Topics usually fall into the computational stats area , but we are quite flexible on this.
Subject and leader of the meetings are announced by email a week in advance, if you wish to be added to/removed from our mailing list, please send a request to email@example.com.
