This module explores the theory, research and practice of nutritional care across a range of nutrition specialities provided by clinicians. It is a core module for level 6. Topics addressed will include learning about nutrition in practice across a range of specialities and environments.By the end of the module students will have a knowledge and understanding of: 1) Development and evaluation of nutritional interventions pertinent to nutrition practice 2) Pharmacological agents used to treat disease states which are relevant to nutrition practice 3) Evidence-based guidance for nutrition practice 4) Communication skills for effective nutrition practice
