This module covers the basics of the genetics and epigenetics of diseases in human. The examples include immune deficiencies, developmental defects, cancer and heart diseases. The guest lecturers of this course will present their ongoing research, at the bench and in the clinic. Two tutorials will give you the tools to investigate the genetics and the epigenetics components of a studied diseases. This module is assessed by two group oral exams and an individual unseen written exam.
