This core module aims to encourage a critical understanding of the key principles and practices of development education and related fields such as global learning and global citizenship. It also provides opportunities for peer learning and for students to reflect on the relationships between theoretical perspectives on development education and global learning and their own educational practice. The module also explores a range of diverse international perspectives and approaches to both the theory and practice of development education and related areas.
