In this module you work towards completion of a dissertation or report, based on a piece of original research. The module spans a full year. To support you in the development of the research skills required for successful completion, during the autumn term you will complete a series of study units and prepare a proposal for your dissertation/ report in this virtual learning environment. In the spring, you will then begin working one-on-one with your dissertation/ report supervisor (normally this will be your Personal Tutor) to complete the ethics review process and then to carry out the research and writing.
