PUBL0017: Making Policy Work (21/22)
The course aims to find out how policy-makers can promote effective public
policy outcomes. In particular, it aims to establish whether the deployment
of the tools of government—such as laws, finance, and acts of
persuasion—have their intended effects. In learning about the resources
of government, students will be able find out about the best way to
evaluate public policies. The course uses examples from policy
implementation across the world, in particular from the United Kingdom and
United States.
