SECU0010: Crime and Society (21/22)

The main aim of the module is to provide students with a broad understanding of crime as a social problem and societal responses to it. This includes a solid foundation in how crime is defined, major trends in offending, explanations of criminal behaviour and the various components of the criminal justice system. Also, students will be provided with a range of opportunities to practice critical thinking and develop confidence in their verbal communication skills.
